Three years ago, Jeewan came to the U.S. from Nepal with one goal: complete seminary training to build God’s kingdom.
“The church in Nepal is very young, he says. “We need more training and understanding of scripture. I want my people to know God more and more.”
From the start, Jeewan and his family faced financial hurdles. At one point, he couldn’t fund his education and faced having to return to Nepal without finishing his training.
“I didn’t know what to do,” he remembers. ”I was ready to pack my bags. My family and I were pretty low in every way.” That’s when Jeewan found 222 Foundation.
My mentor, Peter, understands what I’ve been through and helps me consider how what I’m learning will work in real life,” says Jeewan.
Because of you and 222 Foundation, Jeewan will soon be ready to launch into ministry—and stay there. Free from seminary debt and isolation, he is strengthened from the start and much more likely to serve the next generation for many years to come. Thanks to his mentorship experience with Peter, Jewan will also be ready to influence even more leaders for generations to come.
“Jeewan is choosing to serve wherever God calls him,” says Peter. “God is on the move and amazing things are happening! I want to be part of what he is doing through Jeewan and other future leaders.”
